Wait a minute, what day is today?

This last week has been a haze for me. 

• The excitement and anticipation of my oldest daughter returning from her 10 week vacation away from us.  
• A trip just hours later to the ER with her.  
• Getting everything ready for school to start again next week.  
• A good friend of ours had their first baby.  

The list goes on and on, and the days seem to run together, leaving me uncertain of what day it even is.  So there wasn't anything special cooked/baked, and no crafting was to be had in my house this week.  I'm hoping to get something fun done this week with the kids before their days are consumed with school, homework, chores and extracurricular activities.  So here's to a smooth start to school and some exciting last days of summer.
