My family and I have never been to Disneyland, and we are planning our first trip there for Thanksgiving! To get ready for the trip I thought it would be fun to go overboard. We are making a giant countdown calendar, shirts, skirts for the girls, hair bows (also for the girls), a hat for my son, journals, autograph books, and much much more. I'm not much of a writer, so this will be more of a photo blog from here on out :o)
So without further adieu, our countdown calendar:
I still need to add the numbers to the hands and heads, and need to create the title for it.
Every time that Mickey's head is on a yellow spot, we will do a project. As you can see there will be 6 projects we will be making:
- Journals to record our memories
- Autograph/picture books
- Hair bows for the girls and a hat for my son
- Shirts for the entire family and skirts for the girls (still trying to figure out something else for a 9 year old boy, I don't think he wants to wear a skirt).
- A quillow for the car ride
- Water bottle covers with names on them
I'll post pics of each of the projects as we do them and maybe a few more things that I'm planning on surprising the littles with.
